Hi Everybody,

Remember in my last blog how I talked about hearing about what issues were important to you?  Here’s an opportunity coming up where you can let people know in person about the services and supports that you receive.

SUFU will be hosting a series of Ice Cream Socials to help OADS complete the SIS Surveys.  The 1st one is going to be in Bangor on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 10 am to 12pm.  The address is: 48 Columbia Street, Bangor (The building is called COEspace).

If you would like to go to this event and/or find out when the others will be, please let me know: aolmstead@sufumaine.org or Monique at (207) 476-5500.

Not only will you get to eat some great ice cream, hang out with people and have a lot of fun, but you will also be able to talk about how you really feel about the services and supports that you receive.

Talking about this is really important because in order for things to get better or keep programs that are working well, we need to speak up and have our voices be heard.

And don’t worry, if ice cream upsets your stomach, there will be other treats to eat. 🙂

If you have any questions, please free to email me at aolmstead@sufumaine.org

Until Next Time,

Avery
