I want to share with you about a new experience for me.
A former teacher of mine asked me last year if I was still singing. I used to be part of a chorus in high school and it was something I liked doing. I have not been singing and he brought up the idea of the Tri City Community Chorus in Saco. I take suggestions from this teacher very seriously and respect him. I took his suggestion to heart and contacted them. They were not accepting new participants at the time, but said I could join in January. I have been going to practice on Monday nights since. We are working on music for a performance in June.
The other chorus members are open and welcoming to me. It is great to be part of something like this again. It feels great to be connected with my community.
