Hi everybody, it’s Jon.
I did attend the Disability Pride Day event facilitated by our friends at Disability Rights Maine. It was held on July 18th at Mill Park in Augusta. Jared & Casey from DRM brought Marco & I down. I also helped Molly with the RevUp table and met a lot of people that came to the RevUp table. I also got to speak with Secretary of State Shenna Bellows. There were a lot of people from SUFU there as well. We had lots of tables there this year from a lot of different groups. Also, there was a news crew there as well
Disability Pride Day happens every year in July during Disability Pride Month.
There were guest speakers, a band, and most importantly Celebration. You are the expert on Disability Pride and that’s what counts.
