Tucker Conley graduated from Gorham High School in 2007. He then went on to earn an Associate’s Degree, in Liberal Arts from Southern Maine Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree, in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. A love of words still excites
Tucker and his dream career would combine writing and social media in some form.
Tucker has been a very active member of SUFU. He has received the SUFU Marsha Rosen Award and the SUFU Paige Barton Award for his outstanding commitment to his Portland Chapter and the SUFU organization. In September 2017, Tucker became Chair of the SUFU Board. In his role as Chair, Tucker wrote a powerful letter to the Editor on how the Maine Department of Health and Human Services neglected to follow-up on thousands of abuse and neglect complaints.

Along with fellow SUFU Board member and vice chair, Abbott Philson, Tucker acted in a series of educational videos of various topics, such as political advocacy, Supported Decision Making and others that are important to the Intellectual and Developmental Disability community.
