We have hired a new statewide advisor her name is Julie Moulton. Julie was employed by Support Solution where she worked as a direct support professional and program manager. She is a former advisor to the local Lewiston /Auburn self advocacy group. Julie lives in Monmouth where she has a massage therapy business.
Julie will be supporting Southern Maine Regions. It hasn’t been decided yet where her office will be, but it will probably be in the Portland area.
You will be able to meet Julie at up coming events such as September’s board meeting, conference planning or the 2006 Dreams Conference. We hope you will make her feel welcomed. When she is settled into her office feel free to call her and let her know how she can support self advocacy and you the self advocate.
SUFU has new exciting goals and objectives for the 2005-2006 fiscals year we would like to ask all self advocates and supporters to help us make this the most successful year ever in self advocacy.
