My name is Amy Madsen. I am a self advocate and I dream about being my own guardian. I am working on getting a place with a roommate. I can do my own housekeeping. I know how to live on a budget and I have my own checkbook. I live in the country and it is not safe to walk around by myself. I want to live in town within walking distance to my friend’s house. I keep on speaking up and sometimes people do not listen, but I don’t give up. I want to be my own guardian.
