SUFU Gardiner has two "Challenges"

The local self advocacy group in Gardiner is trying to meet 'Jodi's Challenge'. A couple months ago Jodi Benvie, team member of the Alliance for Full Participation, challenged fellow team members to get more involved with their community; to get their community members more involved. Members of SUFU Gardiner are doing just that and more.
They are trying to get people to come back to the local self advocacy group. Current members of the group are going around talking to old members to see what it would take to bring them back and asking potential new members; what will it take to get you involved? We are trying to find out what kind of things former members would like to see the group working on. Everyone in the group is doing the same thing. The challenge is to get members who have left to come back; Ones who haven’t come yet and try it!
We’re meeting the “Jodi’s challenge”.The group meets at Uplift, 25 Winter St. in Gardiner. We meet the first Tuesday of every month 4-5:30.
